Madi and Trevor met at the end of their senior year at Appalachian State University and started dating in March of 2018

We graduated from Appalachian State University together (literally together, we walked the stage one after the other). We enjoy returning to Boone to explore the town and attend App State football games.

We did 'long' distance for 3.5 years, traveling between Charlotte and Asheville, and making the most of each weekend spent together.

We were gifted festival tickets in 2021 and have made it a goal to go to a new one every couple years. We have began gifting each other experiences rather than traditional gifts and have been able to enjoy beach trips, festivals, snowboard trips, a cruise and many other adventures together.

Trevor planned the most beautiful proposal at Ocean Isle. He planned for us to go to dinner so we were all dressed up and asked me to take a walk on the beach after. With the help of a few friends and a photographer, we returned to a beautiful set up of roses and candles and champagne where Trevor dropped to one knee and proposed.

We then returned to the beach house to celebrate with all our friends

We became pawrents to Chi Chi or better known as "Chi Boogie"
