Tom forgets meeting Madison for the first time
At a leadership conference (Tom says it was summer camp) before senior year at Gonzaga madison and Tom meet.
Madison and Tom go to the first ever bike and brew
Madison organized a “bike and brew” event in Spokane. Tom sits next to Madison and chats her up realllll good. He even ate cheese in order to impress her (for those of you not in the know this is a very big deal).
Madison and Tom get to chatting
Madison buys an impromptu ticket to the Foster the People concert, after hearing that Tom was going to be there…. After the concert Tom asks Madison to dinner!

To a date with Tom
Madison changes her mind
Making excuses saying she was “too busy” Madison turns Tom down. Tom has an extra intense workout that day….
23 days later….
knowing he has one chance to turn it around… Tom comes to another bike and brew event and leaves early…
Madison comes craaawwwwlling back
Madison has been won over and asks if the offer for dinner still stands… a full hour later Tom responds yes!
The date
Turns out only one day in the next month works for Madison and Tom to have dinner. It’s happens to fall on a Monday… when Monday finally rolls around, Tom happens to be sick but refuses to reschedule. And after a snot filled dinner and more madison getting Tom to eat cheese the rest is history!
