Our Love Story

How We Met

It all began in high school, where we started dating during our sophomore year. Before we started dating, we went to prom together as freshmen, though I didn’t give Deakyn the time of day back then, Deakyn was persistent and finally convinced me that we should go out, and the rest is history.

The First Date

Our first date was a classic trip to the movies. It was simple yet memorable, marking the start of our incredible journey together. By the end of that night, it became clear that there was something special between us.

Falling in Love

As time went on, we discovered how much we have in common. We share a love for camping, hunting, fishing, traveling, and exploring the outdoors. Our bond grew stronger when we moved in together during our freshman year of college at UWGB. Those early years were full of laughter, growth, and unforgettable moments. Some of our favorite memories include traveling to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and exploring hiking trails in Door County.

The Proposal

On a trip to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Deakyn planned a proposal that was both special and intimate. It was just the two of us, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, making it a moment we will cherish forever. Of course, I said, “Yes!”

Looking Ahead

Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we’re excited to celebrate our love story with all of you. Our wedding day is not just about us; it’s a reflection of the love and support from everyone who has been part of our journey. We can’t wait to begin this new chapter surrounded by family and friends.
