While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
A black-tie optional dress code gives you a couple of formal options to choose from. Men are invited to wear a tuxedo, but can opt for a dark suit instead. Women can choose from either a formal evening gown or cocktail dress.
Will there be transportation to the venue?
There will be a trolley at each hotel block shuttling wedding guests to and from The Mackey House. Please go to the "Travel & Accommodations" tab for more information. There is also plenty of parking at the venue should you decide to drive.
Is it true that Savannah is an open container city?
YES! The legislation in Savannah permits patrons and party goers to carry open drinks. The legal way to consume said drinks are in a plastic, 16-ounce cup (not bottles, mugs or flasks) and in the parameters of the Historic District. With that being said, Savannah is more strict on having consumers present their ID's regardless of age. So please make sure to bring your ID with you at all times if you would like to take advantage of these open container laws. Cheers!
What will the weather be like in Savannah?
In Savannah, the October high temperatures are typically in the 70s with low temperatures typically in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
