Our Wedding

Eight years ago, on August 21, 2015, Evan and Madison’s journey began during Saint Joseph’s University freshman year move-in day. It was also Evan’s birthday, and fate gifted him the chance to meet his future wife. While their official romance began over a year later, the foundation of their story was laid their freshman year-where they lived in the same building, on the same floor. Late-night study sessions in the floor’s lounge was practically an every night occasion. Whether Evan was studying or not, he was there. In addition, Evan’s persistent invitations to dinner & random class-skipping adventures (which the answer was always no) formed the backdrop of their unique friendship. Even though Madison consistently declined his offers, Evan’s unwavering care for Madison did not go unnoticed. In their sophomore year, as Madison joined a sorority, it was only natural for Evan to be the one accompanying her to her first formal on December 2, 2016. That evening marked a turning point, as Madison began to realize the depth of their connection. Evan’s ability to make her laugh, his genuine care, and undeniable admiration of her became increasingly apparent. On January 1st, 2017 (yes only 3 or so weeks after that first formal), they officially became a couple. And the rest, as they say, is history. Best friends and inseparable, their shared love for food deepened their bond. Exploring new restaurants and trying out different recipes became a cherished hobby (this was a challenge for Madison, who only ate chicken fingers and pizza when they met, but is now eating raw scallops and wagyu beef). They also enjoy watching movies together, golfing, and spoiling Monte (their 4-year old Frenchie) with love. Seven years later, their happiness is shared with Monte, who is the center of their world. Now, as they embark on the journey to become husband and wife, Evan and Madison are thrilled to share their joyous celebration with you.

Trolley Transportation will be provided from Marriott Old City to The Switch House. Services will also be available at the end of the night. Trolley Pickup 1- Marriott to Switch House4:00 pm4:20 arrival to The Switch House Trolley Pickup 2- Marriott to Switch House4:30 pm4:50 arrival to Switch House End of the Night Transportation begins 1 hour prior to the end of the reception and will run until all guests are back at the hotel
