Q + A

When is the RSVP due?

June 1, 2026. If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as a "no." We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with an accurate final guest count. Thank you for understanding.

Where should we stay?

Ellicottville is a ski town so there are plenty of Airbnb's, Vrbo's, and other rental properties around if you are looking to turn the wedding into a cabin getaway! The hotel blocks for the Inn at Holiday Valley are now live! Please see the "Travel" section for more information. There is another wedding happening the same day, so be sure to book the hotel rooms sooner rather than later!

Are kids invited?

While we love your kids, we are unable to accommodate all of the little ones. We kindly request that only those listed on the invitation be included in the celebration. Thank you for your understanding.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony will be held indoors at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Cocktail Hour will be held indoors and outdoors as scenic chairlift rides with hilltop bar service will be offered during this time. The reception will be held inside on the second floor of the Holiday Valley Main Lodge with the adjacent outdoor patio!

What time should we arrive at the wedding ceremony?

We kindly ask all guests to be seated at the church by 2:15. There will be a ski shuttle provided to and from Holiday Valley for the wedding ceremony from 1:30pm-4:30pm. The church has a small parking lot but there is street parking and other nearby lots if you choose to drive.

How should we get ourselves home after the reception?

The venue is right next to the hotel that we will be blocking out and shuttle service will run from 9:30PM-1:30 AM from HV Lodge to Lodging and the Village! Shuttles can also be ran anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the venue. Anyone staying outside of the 5 mile radius will unfortunately have to make their own way home. There are very limited (if any) rideshare services.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

We kindly ask that guests wear cocktail attire to our celebration. We’re hoping for something fancy enough to make you feel fabulous but comfortable enough to have fun! Ladies, it’s all about a great dress or a fashionable jumpsuit. Gentlemen, a suit or dressy separates are perfect. Please reserve shades of navy blue and dusty blue for the bridal party.

Will there be an open bar?

There will absolutely be an open bar at the wedding reception. However, the after party will be a cash bar.
