Q + A

What is the attire?

We politely ask that our guests attend our wedding in semi-formal attire. Men are asked to wear a suit. Women are asked to wear a midi or maxi dress. We respectfully request that guests refrain from wearing jeans or other casual attire.

What time should I arrive at the church?

Please plan to arrive 25–35 minutes before the ceremony begins so you have plenty of time to park, find your seat, and get settled.

Can I bring a plus one?

We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to space and budget constraints, we are only able to accommodate the guests named on your wedding invitation. If your invitation includes a guest’s name alongside yours, you are welcome to bring that person as your plus one. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep our celebration intimate.

Can I take my own pictures?

We kindly request that our ceremony be unplugged. No phones are to be out during the ceremony itself. Once we hit the reception you are more than welcome to take your own pictures!

Where should I stay?

We have reserved a discounted room block at Comfort Suites in Hudson, WI for our guests. The block includes 15 rooms, but additional guests will still receive the same rate when mentioning the Staples–Beeler Wedding while booking. The discounted rate is available for Friday and Saturday, you do not need to stay both nights to take advantage of the rate.

Will there be transportation provided?

We kindly ask guests to arrange their own transportation, as no shuttle or bus service will be provided.

Is smoking allowed at the reception venue?

You’re welcome to smoke in clearly designated spots at the reception. We’ll have pails of sand so you can safely put out your cigarettes. Thanks for helping us keep the space pleasant for everyone! Please note that marijuana use is not permitted on the property and you will be asked to leave.
