Yes! We have hotel rooms blocked out for guests at Holiday Inn Carbondale and Comfort Inn & Suites. Unfortunately, SIU has also decided to put their Homecoming during our wedding weekend (the audacity!) so we suggest you book a room ASAP.

Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors overlooking the beauty of Southern Illinois. Our reception will be held within the barn on the property of Bell Hill. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place in the barn.

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. This means ladies wear knee to ankle length dresses, and men wear jackets and slacks. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside on a grassy hill, so we recommend comfortable shoes and light layers for the unpredictability of Southern Illinois weather. Feel free to reach out to Maddie if you have any questions.

The ceremony will begin around 3 pm. We ask that you arrive to the venue between 2:30-2:50 pm so you have time to get settled before the ceremony.

While we love children, we hope you can join us for an adult-only celebration. If your attendance depends on bringing your children, please reach out to Maddie either through the email maddieandpaularegettingmarried@gmail.com.

Our venue has a lot of uneven ground as much of it is outside on a beautiful hill. There are very few steps, and a ramp is available for the barn. A golf cart will be available to move guests across the venue as needed.

Yes! There is a large grass lot right on the property of the venue for guests to park at for free.

Probably! If you have been provided with a plus one, you will see the option on your RSVP listed as {your name}'s guest. If you don't have a plus one, and you feel you should get one, reach out to the bride at maddieandpaularegettingmarried@gmail.com

Welcome! Maddie and Paul love it here. There are many amazing wineries (and one really bad one) in the area, as well as a variety of beautiful natural areas to visit. We highly recommend a trip to Giant City State Park, Inspiration Point in La Rue Pine Hills, and the Kinkaid Lake Spillway, to name a few. Visit the "Things to Do" tab to see more.
