We are beach bums at heart, and Smathers Beach is one of the best in the Keys. Smathers is the longest public beach in Key West, and, although you'd never know it, it is man made!
Anyone who knows us, knows we love aquariums. Although the Key West Aquarium is small, it is a fun way to pass an hour or two and meet some of the Keys' locals. It is located in the heart of Mallory Square.
Grab a mojito, pull up a colorful stool, and enjoy the ocean breeze on Sunset Pier. Located right at the start of Duval Street, this is a great place to end a walk along Key West's main thoroughfare... or to start it off!
The White Tarpon is one of our favorite places to stop for lunch while exploring Key West. Located at the Historic Seaport, come at the right time and you will find Goliath groupers vying for a piece of the fishermen's catch!
Louie's backyard is one of our favorite restaurants on the island. Boasting beautiful ocean views, the back patio is canopied by a large tree that makes you feel like you're eating in a treehouse. Not to mention the delicious food!
A Duval Street staple, stop by Hog's Breath Saloon for a drink and some of the best live music in town. After all, hog's breath is better than no breath at all!
