However, if you prefer to relax and enjoy resort life, you can also use the Florida Keys Shuttle (refer to Travel tab for contact/booking information). Just keep in mind that Uber and Lyft options are limited in the area, but rental car locations (Marathon Airport Car Rental) are available if you change your mind.

Please book your rooms as soon as possible to ensure you secure proper lodging. Rooms at the resort fill up quickly due to other events happening that weekend, and we want to make sure all our guests can stay onsite for their desired duration. We’d love for you to fully enjoy our wedding venue and the resort! Wedding festivities begin on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, with a Welcome Party at 7:30 PM EST on Oasis Cay Sand at Hawks Cay Resort. Please plan to arrive with enough time to check in, unwind, and have dinner before joining us for refreshments and light snacks. On the wedding day (May 8, 2025), the ceremony will start at 6:00 PM EST on Oasis Cay Lawn, with celebrations continuing until 11:30 PM EST.

During this time of year, the Florida Keys typically experience daytime temperatures in the 80s, dropping into the 70s in the evening. For our wedding day on Thursday, May 8, 2025, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors at Hawks Cay Resort on the Oasis Cay Lawn and Sand. We will then transition to the Dolphin Ballroom and Deck for the reception. While most of the reception will be indoors, guests will have the option to step outside and relax while enjoying the dolphins and beautiful views.

We hope you take full advantage of the relaxed island vibes that the Florida Keys offers. For our wedding, we kindly ask that you elevate this vibe respectfully by wearing resort formal attire (no shorts/sandals or beach attire).

We will not be providing transportation, as all events will take place onsite at Hawks Cay Resort. For guests staying at the resort, onsite services are available to help you get around if needed. Just a reminder: Lyft and Uber options are limited in the Keys.

There is limited availability of Uber and Lyft in the Florida Keys, so please plan accordingly if you are not staying onsite at Hawks Cay Resort.

Yes, you have the option to either self-park or use valet service if you choose to drive or rent a car. Your vehicle can remain onsite for the duration of your stay at Hawks Cay Resort.

Absolutely! We will have a cocktail hour featuring an open bar and passed appetizers, located right next to the ceremony site at Oasis Cay Sand at Hawks Cay Resort. Cocktail hour will take place from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM EST.

The reception will be onsite at Hawks Cay Resort, transitioning to the Dolphin Ballroom and Deck. We’ll be indoors, but guests are welcome to step outside onto the Deck to enjoy views of the dolphins and the fresh Florida Keys air.

Groceries are hand-picked by professional shoppers from Instacart, packed, and delivered to the resort, often in as little as one hour. Publix Super Markets has been dedicated to providing customers with the highest quality stores, selection and service for nearly 90 years. The Hawks Cay Villa guest who places the order must be present to receive the order. Hawks Cay Resort crew will not receive, sign or store items from the delivery service on behalf of guests. For this reason, we encourage guests to schedule delivery on the second day of their stay and not on the day of arrival to avoid complications.
