Our Wedding

Our story starts with an Instagram direct message, 2 beach trips that happened to coincide, and .....We both went to St. Michael High School at the same time, but being a few years apart didn't cross paths much, other than occasionally on the soccer field. Eventually, we both found our way to Lafayette and attended ULL. Towards the end of Madison's Junior year she messaged AJ looking for a link to watch one of his fights... and If you know him, getting a reply over the phone or text is about as easy as getting your dog to take a bath. But, the stars aligned, he replied, and a seed was planted.A couple weeks, and a few messages later, he asked her on a date in the most romantically drafted piece of literature since Shakespeare and said : "Ya like coffee?"Madison said, indeed she was obsessed, and AJ insisted they should grab a cup one morning, or afternoon, or whenever she'd want to. The only problem was he was heading out of town soon to go to the beach. But, the stars aligned once again, and Madison just so happened to be going to the same beach that week too!While they are there, AJ lathered in SPF 150 sunscreen and made the short drive over one day to meet Madison and some friends on the beach near where she was staying. They hung out, had a good time and then decided to hang out again on the beach the next night. This is where the first kiss took place... Madison was putting her car into reverse to take AJ back to his condo after their beach date, and AJ leaned in to make his move. Madison had to stop the car and put it in park first before taking the kiss. He was smitten! When they made it back to Lafayette, they continued to hang out, grow closer together, and began getting used to the idea of life together. Eventually, on a random phone call, the idea of moving somewhere after Madison finished college came into being. Having already been to Colorado for training, AJ mentioned there, and they began plotting on how to make our way up there to see what life would be like. A few months after the first mention of their travel plans, the idea took shape, and their tires hit the road headed 18 hours West to Denver. Uhaul's loaded down and cars packed tight, they headed towards Amarillo as a stopping point to cut the drive in half. This is where they ran into our first obstacle to get through as a couple heading out west on their own. The drive in went off without a problem, but on the way out, they got stuck on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere when one of the Uhaul's sunk into the side of the road in a thick area of mud. A couple hours passed, but after putting their head's together, re-tying a twice broken tow strap about 6 times, and reciting all the 4-letter words, they managed to pull each other out of the mud, and continue their journey together.While out West, they had tons of adventures (Bambey too). They camped, jumped in rivers, hiked, rafted, saw all sorts of animals, and rode all the peaks and valleys the mountains had to offer them. Along the way, they learned a bunch and grew a ton, as individuals, and as a couple. They met so many great people, who helped them and shaped them in so many ways. Their relationship continued to grow and find its way and there became no doubt that they were meant to be together for the rest of their lives.The only question was where to begin this next chapter of their lives together. After many conversations, they decided that as much as they loved the mountains and the community they come to be involved in out West, they wanted to come back to their roots, and be able to share this next chapter of their lives, and the beginning of their married life together, with their family and friends back in Louisiana!We're so blessed to be able to have had the adventures we have had so far together; with all its ups, downs, and its blessings and lessons. We can't wait to celebrate more adventure and more life to come with all of you!The Fletchers

Courtney (Coco) has been Madison’s best friend since second grade, one of her first friends at SGS. They played soccer together for 10 years, and Coco has been by her side ever since. She’s currently in PA school at FranU, graduating in 2027.

Courtney Moggio

Sadie and Madison have been close since their junior year at St. Michael’s. A former collegiate volleyball player for Cumberland, Sadie now lives in Nashville. Madison describes her as calm, honest, and good for the soul; a person that makes her better.

Sadie Edmoston

Briana (Bri) met Madison while working at a gym together in college, where they bonded through workouts and collegiate powerlifting. They later became roommates, creating memories that deeply connected them. Bri now lives in Vancouver, Washington working in medical device sales.

Brianna Errico

Madison met Elysa at her first personal training job at Colorado Athletic Club. Elysa saw her potential and brought her on board, sparking a friendship that quickly became essential to them both. Elysa has opened Madison’s eyes to nature, love, and true friendship. She now lives in Colorado with her husband, Tristan, and their baby, Cecelia.

Elysa Carillo

Mia is Madison’s cousin and lifelong friend. Bright, authentic, and sharp, she’s always been a close part of Madison’s life. Mia is currently studying Pre-PA at LSU, graduating in 2028.


Mia Brasuell

Sophia is Madison’s cousin & she is known for her bright spirit. She is smart, a natural leader, and a talented dancer. She loves to read and dance and is currently in 7th grade at SGS. 

Sophia DeMarco

Stephen is AJ's older brother, and has been a friend, mentor, and role model for AJ since they were kids. Stephen lives in Covington with his wife Bonnie, and their two beautiful children Campbell and Cecilia.

Austin. Aj's oldest brother, has been a guiding force and someone he looks up to for as long as back as he can remember. AJ loves getting to spend time with Austin, his wife Kayla, and their two children, Thomas and Mabel.

Jeffrey and AJ have been friends since kindergarten, instantly bonding on the playground. They grew up together through MBS, St. Michael’s (playing football together), and LSU. AJ admires Jeffrey’s sharp mind, constant flow of ideas, and of course... his sense of humor! Jeffrey now lives in Lafayette with his wife, Courtney.

Jeffrey Vaccaro

Ever since AJ and Jacob met at Blue Bayou and Dixie Landin (Land of the Giants), they've been best buds. They've been a defensive duo on the football field, roommates in college, and have been there for each other through thick and thin. Jacob and his wife Sophie are 2 peas in a pod, and AJ loves any time he gets to visit them at their home just outside Lafayette.

AJ and Mark go all the way back to Tee-ball and Soccer even before Kindergarten. Mark has been a great friend throughout all those years, making too many memories with AJ to count. AJ's excited to be living just around the corner from him once again, and to get to visit him and his wife Shelby in Baton Rouge.

Hayden is Madison, and soon to be AJ's, younger brother. AJ has really enjoyed getting to know and spending time with Hayden the past several years, and is super excited to finally have a younger brother! Hayden is currently enrolled at LSU and majoring in Construction Management.

To help create a beautiful and cohesive atmosphere, we kindly ask that all the guests follow these attire and color palette guidelines: 1. Dress Code: Semi- Formal Attire- Suits or a Jacket and tie- Formal dresses of any length are great! (Just remember: It will be chilly :)- Formal shoes: Dress shoes, heels, and flats (Kindly avoid sneakers or flip flops)- The ceremony will take place outside &amp; the weather will most definitely be cooler in Louisiana at this time so please be sure bring a coat or shawl to keep warm! 2. Color Palette: Earth TonesWe're embracing a soft, neutral, earth tone color palette!
