From Madi:

Dylan and I met several times throughout the years, as our parents Bob, Deb, Jenn, and Matt have been friends for quite a while. Little did I know what the years would bring!

In late 2018, we met again when I noticed a familiar blue-eyed cutie stopping in at my shifts at the Village Tavern. It took a while for him to build up the courage, but finally in early June of 2019, he asked me on our first date.

By November of 2019 after 4 months together, we went on our very first trip together to Las Vegas, Nevada to celebrate a beloved family friend in her marriage. Neither of us had visited before and absolutely fell in love with the city! We knew then that we would be returning to Vegas together again. In October of 2022 we visited to see our favorite band Panic! at the Disco in concert and loved Vegas just as much as we had 3 years prior.

In March of 2021, I moved in with Dylan to his apartment and we merged cat households! Shortly after in November of 2021, we moved into our first home together.

In April of 2023, Dylan asked my mom for permission for my hand in marriage. On my birthday, we got engaged at home in our kitchen, with our cats as the perfect witnesses. I truly had no idea it was coming!

Over the past 5+ years, we have grown so much closer together and are truly best friends. I could not imagine having anyone else in my corner supporting me through going back to school. He is so patient, kind, and caring - and I am truly so blessed to have him in my life.

We were inspired by our favorite place and the desire for our friends to share the love of Vegas with us. We decided that it would be the perfect place to host our nuptials! While we would love to have all of our family and friends there to celebrate with us, we understand that may not be possible. We are also limited to a total of 50 guests at the venue location for the ceremony. Unfortunately, that means we have to carefully select our friends and family for this portion of our celebration. However, we will be hosting a reception at the Mill Creek Fire Hall following our return from Las Vegas to celebrate with all of our loved ones!
