Mae and Brian met for the first time at a Halloween party in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2019. Truth be told, Brian doesn’t remember much about that night, but he does remember sharing an Uber with Mae on the way to the local bar. Mae says from the moment she saw Brian walk through the apartment door at the party, she knew there was something special about him. A few days after, they went on a double date. On Valentine’s Day 2020, Brian asked Mae to officially be boyfriend and girlfriend. From then on, they were inseparable.

Mae and Brian lived together between Mae’s Carthage dorm room and Brian’s parents’ house (Tricia & John). Once Brian graduated from Carthage in 2020, they moved in together full time. Once Mae got her bachelor’s degree, both sought new job opportunities in Dallas, Texas! In June 2022, they moved down south to live with Mae’s parents (Todd & Chris) in Celina, TX. They helped with taking care of Mila (Mae’s Grandma) and saved up for their own house for the next year and a half. On New Year’s Eve 2023, Brian proposed to Mae at Carthage College where they met. Soon after, they purchased their first home in Pilot Point, TX, just 10 minutes away from Mae’s parents’ house.

Mae and Brian feel very lucky to have found each other. They look forward to celebrating their marriage with close family and friends in June 2025. They thank each guest traveling near and far for this special day.
