We both had been unlucky in love for, well, the majority of our lives.
At the prompting of those who cared about us, we were encouraged to put our self out there and give the dating apps a go. We met on an app called upward, and after some nerdy flirting we agreed to meet for our first date at Awake Coffee. After one nerve-fueled first meeting, observed by a local regular of a back alley pharmacist, the rest became history.

Since that first meeting began an adventure that has shared a devotion to our faith, family, and fun. Shaun has introduced Maegen to a world of DND and fantasy table top games to complement her love of adventure novels. Maegen has brought Shaun along for the ride of serving the community of Hamtramck. This with the mix of watching Shaun’s son, Rowen, grow up life has already been an adventure that has spanned time, 3 camping trips a large part of the State of Michigan and Arizona. Next we hope to take on Maegen’s family in Oklahoma and as much of the world we can see.
