Austell is a teeny-tiny town so you may be hard-pressed to find an airbnb within city limits, however, there are likely plenty of options in these closely neighboring towns:

Close proximity with access to the Silver Comet Walking Trails:

Mableton: 5-15 minute drive

Powder Springs: 5-15 minute drive

Outside-Perimeter cities with more to do:

Smyrna: 15-25 minute drive

Easy location if you want to bop into the ATL Perimeter. Home to the Braves stadium.

Marrieta: 15-30 minute drive

Has a charming city center with shops and restaurants.

Inner Perimeter Areas:

West Side: 30-40 minutes

Small up and coming neighborhoods with local dives to explore.

Midtown/Virginia Highland: 40-50 minutes

The place to stay if you want to get a taste of all ATL has to offer - Home to Ponce City Market, the Beltline and really great bars and restaurants. Just be warned - traffic can be bad leaving this area, so plan your travel accordingly.
