FAQs

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP to all events no later than Sunday, March 31, 2024, on our wedding website.

What's the dress code?

Black tie optional. It's a party and we love a great excuse to get dressed up! We would love for men to wear suits or tuxedos and for women to wear floor-length or midi-formal gowns, jump suits or pant suits. No jeans or athletic shoes. Please avoid wearing white, cream and light-blue. For welcome drinks, the dress code is smart casual. Inspiration for men is jeans and a sport coat, khakis and a button-down or sweater, etc! Inspiration for women is a dress or skirt, jeans and a nice blouse, etc. For the day two barbeque, the dress code is casual. Just come as you are!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

We're so excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest! If you received a plus-one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear when you RSVP. Otherwise, we're unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests.

Are my kids invited?

While we love all your little ones, we are unable to accommodate everyone's children. If your children are invited, your invitation will be addressed to "The X Family" or their name(s) will appear when you RSVP. If not, we kindly ask that you make childcare arrangements. The hotel has a network of recommended local babysitters. If you'd like us to put you in touch with them, please reach out to us at cuttsgertzwedding2024@gmail.com. We hope that providing advanced notice helps.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We are having a fully "unplugged" ceremony. We kindly ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight and on silent until the ceremony is over. We have an experienced photographer and videographer capturing our day and will happily share our professional images with you after the wedding. You are free to use your phones and cameras afterward to capture the rest of the day/ night!

What's the weather like in Ireland in May?

Irish weather is typically mild and rainy year round with temperatures ranging 45 to 60° F (7 to 15 °C). However, weather along the coast changes quickly so it's not unusual for it to be rainy and foggy then 20-minutes later the sun comes out with clear blue skies! We may even luck out with an Irish heat wave with higher than average temperatures. Our best recommendation for packing is lots of layers! Spanish Point is right on the ocean so we do recommend bringing a swim suit too!

Is there transportation to/from the venue(s)? Is there parking available?

We have arranged complimentary bus transportation to bring our guests from the Armada to St. Joseph's and back after the ceremony. St. Joseph's Church and the Armada Hotel both have large, parking lots free of charge. If you are not staying at the hotel, we highly encourage you to prebook a taxi home as we do not want any of our guests drinking and driving. You are able to leave your car at the hotel overnight. Complimentary transportation is not provided for the welcome drinks or day two barbeque. Cogans is a 35-minute walk or a 4-minute drive from the Armada Hotel. Spanish Point Golf Club is a 20-minute walk or a 3-minute drive from the Armada Hotel.
