Hello everyone, Welcome to our wedding week, and welcome to Philadelphia! We are beyond excited to have you join us for this special celebration in Philadelphia. We know how much planning, travel, and effort it took to be here, and we want to sincerely thank each of you. We can’t wait to celebrate together soon! Maeve and Thomas put together a few helpful notes about the weekend’s events and nearby locations to make planning your schedule a bit easier: Friday – Welcome PartyThe festivities begin at 7:30 PM at PJ Clarke’s, just a quick 4-minute walk from both hotel blocks (Hotel Monaco and the Renaissance). Feel free to check in and head over at your convenience. We’ll have an open bar, light bites, and music waiting for you! Saturday – CeremonyThe ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 PM at Old Saint Joseph’s Church, only a 6-minute walk from our hotels. The ceremony is expected to last about one hour. Between the Ceremony and ReceptionYou’ll have some free time to relax and enjoy the city before the reception. Here are a few ideas:The closest options:Hotel Monaco offers a complimentary wine hour each afternoon.The Renaissance has a great bar as well.PJ Clarkes Bar (welcome party location)Other further away favorites:McGillin’s Olde Ale House, Moriarty’s Restaurant, and Fergie’s Pub—all perfect for a drink or a snack with friends and family. ReceptionThe celebration continues at The Ballroom at the Ben, beginning at 6 PM. It’s an easy 8-minute walk from Old Saint Joesph's and both hotel blocks, and Ubers are readily available if you prefer a ride. After-Party &amp; TransportationThe after-party runs until 1 AM. To make your night worry-free, the bride and groom will be providing transportation from The Ballroom at the Ben back to both hotels from 10:30pm-1:30am. Your only job is to have fun! We are so grateful to have each of you celebrating with us, and we truly can’t wait to see you soon. Your presence means the world, and we look forward to a weekend filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories together. Reading Terminal Market

Visit Independence hall! See where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were debated, drafted and signed by our forefathers, and see surviving copies of the documents. You can also see the Assembly Room where George Washington was appointed commander in chief of the Continental Army. Recent reviewers agree this is a must-see in Philadelphia! While you are there, also check out the liberty bell and the Betsy Ross house!

Independence Hall

The infamous Rocky statue - a larger-than-life boxer — is one of Philadelphia’s most famous pieces of art. The fictional Rocky Balboa of Sylvester Stallone’s&nbsp;Rockymovies was immortalized in bronze by artist A. Thomas Schomberg in 1980 for a scene in the film&nbsp;Rocky III. After the filming was complete, Stallone donated the statue to the City of Philadelphia. Since 2006, the statue has been located at the bottom of the stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Be sure to get your pictures taken with the “Italian Stallion.”

America’s Oldest &amp; Continuously Operating Outdoor Market is located in South Philadelphia’s Bella Vista &amp; Passyunk Square communities.
