As most of you know, Austin and I have been together for a long time. We met through a mutual friend (THANK YOU Caitlyn Zucca) on Halloween night in 2011 while we were still in high school. We started dating less than a month later, and we have been best friends ever since. We've had so much fun over the years together, and we've also worked really hard. Austin and I attended separate universities in college. Austin attended Texas A&M University in College Station while I remained home and attended Texas State University in San Marcos about 2 hours away. We knew the distance would be difficult, and it has been especially hard on myself, but we also knew we loved each other and we were going to make it work. In 2015, about halfway into our college career's, Austin proposed. While we were anxious to be married, we knew our college degrees had to be priority number one. We made a mutual decision to complete our college degrees before getting married. I received my degree from Texas State in 2017 in Interdisciplinary Studies and started working for Dripping Springs ISD. After two terms of an internship in Arkansas, a lot of all-nighters, and endless exams; Austin FINALLY received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Texas A&M in May 2018. In May 2018 Austin began his new career at Toshiba in Houston where we are currently living. It wasn't easy, but we accomplished our mutual goal of earning our degrees, and now we are beyond excited to finally be together. We are eagerly anticipating our fast approaching wedding, and our new life together.
We know a lot of you have been waiting with us throughout the 7 years we've been together; watching us grow and encouraging us a long the way. We love and appreciate every one of you, and we cannot wait for you to celebrate with us on October 27th!!
THANK YOU FOR TRAVELING THIS LONG ROAD WITH US
