Jack and Maggie met back in January of 2021 in Nashville, TN. They had both recently moved to Nashville to begin their careers after graduation from Murray State (Jack) and The University of Kansas (Maggie) in May of 2020. During a cold and rainy night out with their respective friends at a bar called Live Oak, the two were seated at neighboring tables. After exchanging a few glances, Jack approached Maggie and struck up a conversation. Both quickly realized the connection they had; specifically, that they grew up an hour apart around the St. Louis area. From there, they navigated the beginning of their relationship through Covid restrictions and Maggie working night shift in the Vanderbilt ER. 

Their relationship continued to flourish through discovering their shared interests of cooking, traveling, and Cardinals baseball. They enjoyed countless trips to the lake, home to visit family, and meeting each other’s friends at the many, many weddings they attend.
Fast forward to September of 2023, Jack asked Maggie to marry him on the rooftop of their apartment building followed by a surprise dinner with their families and Maggie’s best friend/maid of honor, Molly. 

Jack and Maggie are exceptionally excited to continue the celebration of their love story with their friends and family at their wedding in May of 2025.
