On a cold winter night, nearly ten years ago, fate intervened in the lives of two young souls destined to meet...

In Green Bay, Maggie was dragged out of her house by her spontaneous friend Nicole, begging her to come along to Oshkosh, so she could meet up with a guy and said he was going to bring along a friend. Meanwhile, in Oshkosh, Ted was sitting in his college apartment when one of his old buddies begrudgingly got him to agree to hosting some girls from out of town.

Even though Ted was not thrilled with the idea of having these ladies over initially, that evening sure was one to remember. When Ted first laid eyes on Maggie, he was smitten. Maggie was “way out of his league” or so he thought. But being Ted, he had decided to shoot his shot and pulled out his best jokes and anecdotes just for her. Little did Ted know his sense of humor, good looks, and kindness really made an impression on Maggie. They both kept thinking to themselves, “Wow, I’ve never met anyone like them!” Thankfully, Ted mustered up enough courage to ask Maggie for her number. It didn’t take long until they saw each other again. Maggie and Ted spent almost every weekend together after they met until Ted decided it was time to take things to the next level. One of the first things Ted didn’t want to gamble on was Maggie getting away if he waited too long, so he asked Maggie to be his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day, which of course she said YES!

The two continued to fall deeper in love with the ease of the way they made each other laugh and how it felt like they were right at home and so safe together. Within a few short months, Maggie and Ted got the surprise of a lifetime. Maggie was pregnant with a baby girl! Although the pair were nervous, they knew they would be able to accomplish anything together. In February of 2016, nearing their first anniversary, they welcomed Lennon Grace into the world, proving to be the most beautiful gift either of them could have ever received. Becoming parents has helped Maggie and Ted find their purpose in life. Raising a child comes with challenges but they have always found a way to overcome them and grow closer together through every trial while raising the most wonderful little girl.

Over the years, the couple have created many fun and lasting memories. One of Ted’s favorite memories as a family is from their first trip to Mulberry Farm, showing baby Lennon all of the cute baby animals and watching her play with them. Maggie recalls fond moments of them singing on long car rides, playing music trivia, and watching Bailey Sarian together. Maggie and Ted look forward to the years that lie ahead with many more memories to make while watching their daughter grow up and as their lives continue to intertwine in the best of ways.
