Before Maggie met Robbie she was just a sad little cowgirl...

...and Robbie wasn't exactly winning the race of life...

...but then Robbie and Maggie went out for a drink and despite Robbie insisting Maggie call him by his "rapper name" (and also his favorite type of cheese) Maggie was hooked.

Date nights turned into weekends together and Robbie and Maggie's dog Taco turned into fast friends bonding over a shared love of long walks, bacon, and chasing squirrels.

They went on their first trip together and that's when they knew this was a love meant to last (and because Robbie said "I love you" after 4 months).

And Maggie fell in love with the Cubs too, almost as much as she loves Robbie.

Robbie threw a surprise 30th birthday weekend for Maggie, flying in friends and family from across the country. She never had a clue!

Even when Maggie had to hole up to complete her dissertation, Robbie never left her side (somehow Taco always found a way to wedge himself in the middle).

They went on lots of adventures...

...some fancy...

...and some, well, less fancy...

...until finally they moved in together into their apartment in Chicago.

After a beautiful New Year's together, Robbie got on one knee. They were both so excited neither is really sure if Maggie said yes or not, but she's still wearing the ring!

And most importantly, Taco finally got a dad!
