Our story actually began long before either of us realized it would become our story.We first crossed paths at summer camp, where we technically met but never really knew each other. We went our separate ways, unaware that life had plans to bring us back together years later. It wasn’t until college that fate stepped in again—this time through a mutual friend. What started as a reconnection quickly turned into something special.We began spending more and more time together, bonding over late-night Taco Bell runs, long walks, and conversations that stretched on for hours. Those simple moments became the foundation of our relationship—easy, genuine, and full of laughter. In the early days of our friendship, life threw us a surprise. Maggie got a call that her nephew was being born, and without hesitation, Allan bravely offered to jump in the car with Maggie and her best friend Jessica for a spontaneous trip to north Alabama so she could meet him. Somewhere between the long drive and that unforgettable moment, something shifted—and not long after, we officially started dating.Over the next three years, we grew side by side. We worked hard to finish college, celebrated milestones together, traveled to see our families, attended countless banquets, and made magical memories at Disney World. Through it all, we learned how to support one another, laugh together, and build a love rooted in friendship and adventure.That journey led us right back to north Alabama, where Allan proposed in Athens, AL, just off the town square. After the “yes,” both of our families were waiting nearby at the local ice cream shop, Kreme Delite, ready to celebrate—making the moment even sweeter and more unforgettable.What started as a brief meeting years ago turned into a lifetime we can’t wait to share—and we’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.
