We grew up 30 minutes away from one another in the western suburbs of Chicago. We first met while attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as members of a theatre group - Illini Student Musicals. We were both in the cast of Illini Student Musicals' The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Within two months of meeting one another, we became a couple on March 1st, 2014.

As the years went on, we continued to act in shows together, went on countless dinner/movie dates, and have attended Broadway shows from Les Mis to Phantom to Dear Evan Hanson. We made the best of long distance while Maggie finished grad school at Northwestern and Sylvie started her career at Amazon in Seattle as a software developer. Since August of 2019, we've lived together and created a life for ourselves in Washington state.

On March 1st, 2021, Sylvie asked Maggie to marry her! As best friends, life partners, and future spouses, we so look forward to sharing our love and joy with you on July 7th, 2023!
