Our Wedding

Our story started in Leoti, Kansas, where we both went to school together from his 7th grade year and up! (We are one grade apart) Throughout the years, we had times where we were quite close and other times where we were not so close. When our junior and senior years (Maggie's senior, Xavier's junior) came around, we decided to give our relationship another try, and the rest is history. In all seriousness, we spent a wonderful 10 months living in the same town and going to the same school before Maggie moved to McPherson and the trials of long-distance relationships began to arise. The next year, Xavier moved to Salina and the distance wasn't so hard anymore. On September 28, 2023 (Our 3 Year Anniversary), Xavier popped the question and Maggie said yes! We are both graduating in May 2024 and we are looking forward to our new life together starting June 22, 2024!

Xavier and Tristen have been best friends since they were 4 years old! ( or whatever age pre schoolers are?) A lot of their time spent together was spent competing either against or with each other. After high school, they both attended college 2 hours apart from each other. Even through the distance, over the years, their friendship has turned into a brotherhood.

Maggie and Andelyn have been long-distance best friends forever! (Literally, Andelyn was present at the baby shower for Maggie!) They grew up spending lots of time together, competing against each other in junior high and high school, and they are currently attending colleges 20 minutes away from each other and are able to see each other whenever their schedules align.

Alex is the younger brother of Xavier. Just like every other brotherly bond they fought a lot growing up, but their love for each other never failed. In recent years their bond has grown closer and have countless memories together that will be shared forever!

Alex Blanco

Maggie and Jenna are the two oldest granddaughters in the Glee and Jerry Moore Grandkids clan! They have always been very close, and love spending time with each other! They both love to read and enjoy Walmart trips every Christmas!

Jenna Shea

Matt and Xavier are the oldest grandsons of Jimmy and Regina's grandkids. They both had many things in common and grew up like brothers. After high school, both chose different paths but still remained close and constantly talked about their childhood!

Matthew Comfort

Maggie and Natalia met in Chemistry I at McPherson College, only to find out that they had probably been competitors in various sports throughout junior high and high school! They are currently housemates and spend a lot of time doing physics homework together!

Natalia Salto

Dylan and Xavier met in 6th grade and have been good friends ever since. They've spent a lot of time playing sports and video games together. Although they were interested in different things, they both enjoyed each other's friendship and time spent together.

Maggie and Taylor first met at McPherson College! Both of them are science majors and have survived a lot of classes together! (good and bad) They are currently both working through their Senior Research class, and sharing all of the trauma that comes with research!

Taylor Bohannon

Jose is Xavier's youngest brother. Although they are 11 years apart in age their love for each other is strong. Xavier does a lot of what he does to be a role model for his little brother.

Ariella is one of Xavier's cousins. She is the daughter of Heather and Gerardo Ortiz-Chavez.

Our Ceremony will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the West Bethany Free Methodist Church. A reception will follow at the Wichita County Community Building with: Queso Hour at 5:30 p.m. Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dance from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
