Another option close by. No room block but will secure one and update here if Box House rooms run out!

Getting to Brooklyn

Laguardia

Your best bet if you're flying in from out of state. JFK is fine but significantly farther away. (Don't even bother putting yourself through Newark unless you have a particularly strong constitution.)

THE G TRAIN

Easy peasy transfer off of the 7 (looking at you, Grand Central commuters!) or the L for those coming from Manhattan. Check Google Maps before committing to the G; service may be affected on weekends.

A good ol' NYC taxicab (i.e. Uber/Lyft)

Can't go wrong with door-to-door service.

For those driving

There should be ample street parking available, and there are also a few parking garages nearby:

Q & A

Merriam Webster's dictionary* defines Cocktail Attire as "a semi-formal dress code that's dressier than casual but less formal than black-tie." If that's still unhelpful, just wear something that makes you feel great (and is conducive to dancing all night, of course).*jk, definition courtesy of Google Gemini

Dress Code

Absolutely delicious Taiwanese spot. Don't miss the popcorn chicken. Sleeper hit: the Lo Ba Beng.

Wenwen

Getchyerself a New York slice. The Hell Boy is a personal fave!

Paulie Gee's Slice Shop

Lowkey spot with incredible aguachile and delicious tacos.

Mariscos El Submarino

Best tortillas of your life (though made with lard, sorry veg friends).

Border Town

Best pastries in the game.

Radio Bakery

More pizza, because New York. This time: Neapolitan style.

Salsa Greenpoint

DRINK

Delicious cocktails, great ambiance

Eavesdrop

Another aesthetically pleasing spot for cocktails.

Little Rascal Bar

Fun divey pinball bar right near the Box House.

Solid food, drinks & vibes.

Rule of Thirds

BE MERRY

Ride the NYC ferry for a cheap tour of the skyline! Take the Wall St. bound ferry and hop off at DUMBO for some touristy Brooklyn fun, or Pier 11 if you want to see Manhattan. Hot tip: there's a bar on board.

Greenpoint Landing (NYC Ferry)

A museum, for those feeling cultured.

MoMA PS1

Grab a coffee (or a six pack) and enjoy the skyline.

Domino Park

A more conveniently located, though admittedly less impressive, park with skyline views.
