Please join us in the Wedding & Celebration of Maggie & Grant!
Grant & I met in bible class at 9 years old! At the time, Grant & his family were visiting from Alabama and shortly after, moved to Georgia. Although at this time we were entirely blind to the thought of dating or even being friends, years later… connecting & growing up together through church, turned out to be the biggest blessing of our lives.
We started dating February 10, 2019 after I confessed my crush & asked grant if he liked me back. Much to my relief, he did, and we began going on dates & spending lots of time talking & getting to know each other, and each-other’s families! Our relationship was never perfect, and never will be, but as we both continued to mature in all aspects, our relationship became much more serious. Our communication, beliefs, goals, dreams, and choices just aligned! In 2021, we started college at the University of North Georgia together, and halfway through our sophomore year of college, December 10, 2022, Grant asked me to be his wife!
Needless to say, it was an easy yes from me! Yes we are young, but to us it just makes sense. Grant truly is my best friend and I cant wait to walk through every joy and hardship of life with Him. We consider ourselves lucky to have found love so early in life, & we don’t want to spend any time apart!
Grant & I strive to be each other’s source of comfort, encouragement, sensibility, compassion, and peace. Our favorite thing is to laugh together & I know we will never stop! Most importantly, we will always choose to seek and serve the Lord, & show others His love. He has blessed us immensely, and if there is anything we want to be known by, it is our love for the Lord & what He has done for and through us!
We cannot wait to be joined as one & spend the rest of our lives serving each-other & ultimately serving God. I am so lucky to have found Grant, and there is no one besides him, for me. I love Grant and will spend the rest of life supporting, serving, encouraging, and loving him with my whole heart!
I remember the first time I met Maggie when I was first visiting my Dad in Georgia and went to the church he had been attending. I met all the people that were my age in the bible class and even though I knew that I would be moving there soon I didnt think much of these other kids I interacted with a few times. That would quickly change as I moved in and started spending a lot of time with the others my age and as I moved into the churchs youth group. This group gave me all types of new friends and experiences and although we were in the same overarching group me and Maggie didnt talk to each other that much since we ran in different circles.
That all changed however when I got a text on my way to my 10th grade English class from Maggie, saying that she had a crush on me and asking me how I felt. At that point I had thought she was cute and had a crush on her but thought she would never actually like me so I kept to myself. I texted her saying that I liked her back, and we started dating not long after that. Maggie has been by my side for some of the most important moments of my life the past few years and its so crazy now to look back and think about how Ive known her since I was 8.
There are so many things I love about Maggie. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever met, both inside and out. She radiates love and warmth to everyone around her. I love how much she constantly supports me and gives me advice about anything I could ask for. She is so kind and gracious to me & everyone we meet, and I know that will benefit her in both her career and life going forward. I know both of us will never be perfect, but I also know that she makes me a better person and points me to Christ, and I couldnt imagine going through life without her by my side.
Every experience we have shared and walked through together has shaped us into the people we are today. I adore Maggie and am so blessed that I get to start this new chapter with her, and every chapter of our lives from now on. I thank God for allowing me to find such a wonderful person to marry and I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with her.
