Colonial Williamsburg is a must-see in town. The grounds are free to all visitors and are a popular place to walk with friends, family, and dogs. If you’d like to explore the historic buildings and learn from interpreters about colonial life, tickets can be purchased online for single day, multi day, and even Historic Triangle Passes (adding in Jamestown and Yorktown museums).
The Lees Family has been going to Sal’s almost weekly for over 40 years, and Kyle is happy to keep that tradition going—every time we are in town, he asks if we are going to Sal’s. Bring the whole family for salad, bread, calamari, and a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza (the Lees Family order), or try their pasta dishes!
If you’re staying the whole weekend, consider a day at this beautiful theme park. There is something for everyone from dare devils to those who prefer a pleasant stroll, train ride, or performance.
For a little peace and quiet, come for a tasting or a meal among the grapes at the Williamsburg Winery. Maggie and her friends took senior prom pictures here.
A fun casual sandwich spot by the Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport. Grab a bite and watch the planes take off!
A loud and energetic beer hall with picnic seating, an arcade, tacos and burgers. An overwhelming number of beers on tap, but the very friendly bar staff can help you choose something you’ll love.
