Their story starts in La Crosse, Wisconsin at The Old Crow. They were great friends; Maggie led the front of house and Hunter lead the back of house. From constantly staring at Maggie through the window that divided the servers and cooks Hunter fell in love with Maggie. They were good friends for a long time, but Hunter kept flirting and sending Maggie hints like starting John Mayer Mondays by playing her favorite music all day. Finally, one morning at the Crow Hunter asked Maggie for her number. The two of them started hanging out outside of work more often and finally went on their first date. They spent a lot of time together and developed what the kids call a “thing” for each other. It didn’t stick right away though. Hunter was gone in the summer and Maggie was not ready to catch feelings. After exploring their options and some persistence from the Hunter, Maggie finally said “ok fine” on the best Cinco de Mayo of their lives.&nbsp; 	The love birds were now officially dating, and their love story continued to unfold. Hunter left for Wyoming for work while Maggie moved to Milwaukee to begin her journey of becoming a nurse. Long distance was a difficult test for these two love birds in the inception of their relationship. There was no cell service or internet where Hunter was living. Just a landline, and Maggie rang that phone every day and they talked for hours. After Hunter’s stint in Wyoming, both Maggie and Hunter moved back home. Maggie was still busy with school and Hunter did his best to stay working in Wisconsin to stay with the girl he loved. They couldn’t get enough of being with each other, although Maggie was busy with school, she still made time for Hunter. They went to their first John Mayer concert, had many more dates and their relationship grew even stronger when they made one of the best choices of their lives and brought home Rosie, their sweet, but crazy pup. Now the family has started Maggie, Hunter, and Rosie. They went on countless adventures in Wisconsin while learning a lot about each other, especially how they functioned on little sleep and the extents of their patience.&nbsp; 	Since they started dating Hunter had been collecting all the cash he made from tips and change knowing that one day he would have enough to buy a ring. That day finally came, and Hunter drained his envelope of cash and made the biggest, and the best, purchase of his life. One summer morning the family of three went on a sunrise walk in downtown Port Washington and with a cheesy line, Hunter got down on one knee and asked Maggie if she would marry him. This time she didn’t say “ok fine” she said “yes”. Now the family of three drive off into the sunset on their first big adventure together to live in the state of Montana. They will return to Port Washington, Wisconsin on June 7th, 2025, to finally be married and begin yet another chapter in their love story.&nbsp;
