In April of 2022, Maggie’s parents hired Austin to work at their brewery on the weekends. When they hired him, they let Maggie know that she would be training him on his first day of work when she got back from a trip.
On April 20th (if you know Maggie, you know she NEVER forgets dates) Austin was set to come in and train with Maggie for a couple of hours. Maggie’s bestie Emily texted her that day and said “What if the new guy turns out to be the love of your life!?” Little did anyone know….
Maggie immediately thought Austin was cute and did a TERRIBLE job at training him because she was so nervous. While they worked together they learned that they lived right across the street from each other, basically 50 feet between their front doors!

They hit it off pretty quickly, after about a month of Austin working at the brewery, people started to notice that there was definitely something going on between them. It wasn’t until Maggie’s dad Mark asked her if she was dating Austin before the secret was out!

A year and a half later Austin, Maggie, Mark and Amy went to Seattle to visit family and Austin proposed!
