Summer of 2017- Maggie and Isaac met at a close friends grad party. Maggie’s friends tried to convince her to sit with Isaac, but she was too scared to do so.

Summer of 2018 - Maggie and Isaac once again meet at a friends bonfire; this time Isaac succeeds in schmoozing Maggie and snagging her phone number.

Fall of 2018 - They went on a long walk in Stillwater until 3 am. The couple saw the love they had growing for each other as they talked about each others dreams, fears, and loves of life. Both of them agree this is the pivotal moment where their relationship grew from intrigue to something deeper - LOVE!

March of 2019 - After endless long walks, lots of car rides, and double dates (i.e. Maggie bringing a friend on a few dates for comfort)…Maggie FINALLY!! says yes to dating Isaac after multiple failed attempts.

Summer of 2019 - Maggie and Isaac set off for a week long adventure in Gods country. What started as a fun vacation with friends grew into their love of fishing and enjoying the outdoors together. The now annual group trip to Lake Kabetogoma is what sparked the joy for all of their adventures together. (It is also important to note that, starting on this trip, Maggie perfected the art of out-fishing everyone while asleep.)

2020 - Maggie and Isaac entered COVID and spent a lot of quality time together. They were attending the same college classes, so studying together was a given. Whether preforming CPR on each other (most convenient for a couple in love) or collecting pond water from a swamp that they later fell into, they did everything in life together.

Fall/Winter of 2020 - Isaac gets a crazy idea and builds a luxury camper (fish house) to do what… You guessed it!!! Drag his girlfriend to go fishing in the winter. They spent most of the winter together driving up north on the weekends to stay warm and enjoy time on the lake with friends and each other.

March of 2021 - Isaac gets another one of his crazy ideas to fly to Texas and buy a puppy. Even though she was a little hesitant at first, when Isaac brought Whiskey home from the airport the day before their anniversary, she immediately found a second love. Over the next years, both of them got to experience sharing in the joy of their dog together.

2022 - Maggie and Isaac spent the year continuing to grow their relationship with faith, love, and family at the center of everything. Through many more adventures fishing, camping, and loving their dog together, the year flew by fast!

2023 - This year is the reason all of you are reading this! On a warm July evening after deep thought, Isaac FINALLY asked Maggie to marry him. She may have made them late to his own proposal… and suspected something was fishy the whole, long walk down the Hudson Pier…but at the end of the night both of their hearts were filled with joy as this new and exciting chapter was beginning.

It is with great love and joy that the both of us get to share this special day with all of you. Our journey has been long to get to this point but we are so excited for what God has in store for us. We took forward to seeing you on our special day!!!
