From Maggie: Phil and I met on the Facebook dating app, where we both matched. He sent me a message, and we ended up texting each other all afternoon. That first connection quickly grew as we talked on the phone every day for a month. We had planned to go on our first date, but I got cold feet and called it off. Even though he didn’t want to, Phil respected my decision. We stopped talking for a month, but then, out of the blue, he sent me a message on TikTok of all places. It turns out he had deleted all my contact information to avoid the temptation of reaching out, but I’m so grateful he did. I missed him terribly. From the moment we reconnected, everything fell into place so naturally. Phil pursued me again, and I’m so thankful he did. Our relationship has been effortless and perfect ever since. He’s truly one of a kind, and I feel like I’ve won the lottery—not just with him, but with his incredible family, too. Phil found me when I was lost spiritually and saved me in more ways than one. He’s my home, my heart, and my greatest blessing. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him as my husband. From Phil: Since Maggie has already shared our story, I’d like to take this moment to tell you about the extraordinary woman she is and what she means to me. Maggie has a heart of gold. She’s the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need. She’s faced challenges in life that would have broken many, but she has persevered with strength and grace. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow—learning to love herself and recognizing the incredible woman she truly is. Our time together has been nothing short of amazing. We’ve shared countless memories over the past three years, but there are two moments that hold a special place in my heart. On November 20, 2022, I had the honor of baptizing Maggie. It was one of the most meaningful moments of my life because I know her relationship with God is the most important relationship she’ll ever have—even more important than ours. As much as I love her, I wanted her to fully understand that God loves her far more than I ever could. Exactly two years later, on November 20, 2024, during a magical trip to London, I asked Maggie to spend the rest of her life with me. Saying those words and hearing her say “yes” was a moment I’ll never forget. God works in mysterious ways, and I am endlessly grateful that He brought Maggie into my life. She is my greatest blessing, my partner, and my home. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life creating memories with her and continuing this incredible journey together.
