Max and Maggie met on Hinge in November 2020, when Max wowed Maggie with his best dad joke... "Have you heard my construction joke?" (Hint: He's still working on it).

On their first date, Max and Maggie went on a "socially distanced" picnic in Logan Circle park. Maggie was impressed with Max's choice of bringing a full cutting board for the charcuterie, but was slightly confused when Max abruptly jumped up, gave her a quick side hug, and made a speedy exit after an hour or so. Luckily, Max didnt have a terrible time, but just really had to pee (and had an engagement party to attend!). Both assumed that the second date would be a little less weird...

Well, the second date was pretty great! Maggie went over to Max's house for veggie tacos and a showing of My Cousin Vinny (his favorite) and Twister (hers). That is, until Maggie fell down Max's ENTIRE set of stairs. Luckily, her pride outweighed the pain and the date night continued on with laughter instead of tears. This time with a kiss goodnight!

Max and Maggie bonded over their love of dogs (specifically Walter), EDM, travel, and terrible jokes. Their love story continued on from there!

Maggie and Walter officially moved in with Max in August 2021. They have traveled to more then five countries together. Survived the loss of a passport in Spain and a German airline strike on the way to Croatia. Stayed together through not one, not two, but THREE leaking roofs. Adopted their sweet puppy, Willard, together in 2023. And finally (just ask Maggie) got engaged in October 2023!

Both agree that the other is, undeniably, the best thing they have every found on the internet...
