It was a HOT July summer day in Nashville, TN during the height of The Pandemic when the world felt a little smaller and a lot quieter fate had a unique plan for Alex and Maggie.

Maggie was down at the pool during her summer break far away from her students playing her favorite drinking game Piccolo with friends. Alex had just moved out of the complex but came back for one last cannonball in the pool AND “Maggie” he just didn’t know it yet till they met later that day! When Alex saw Maggie he was instantly drawn to her easy smile and how fast she could slug down a High Noon and perhaps how hot she looked in her blue & white bikini 😉. As they chatted, they soon discovered Alex’s apartment was one floor up and one apartment over and looked down on Maggie’s balcony for a whole year! Hmmm, fate was a little slow.

Their first official date- Yes, they went golfing! Maggie never shied away from some good competition! After several golf dates, Alex bought Maggie a set of her own golf clubs. She began to think this is getting a little serious but quickly caught on she was the only one he could beat up on at golf 😂 LOL just kidding! She actually enjoyed learning a new sport. Golf was one of the few she had never tried. Maggie now is more like his personal cart girl and keeps watch where his ball goes out of bounds! 😆

They soon realized they were meant to be more than golfing and drinking buddies and were engaged in March 2023 where Alex proposed and proclaimed his unwavering love on the top of a ski mountain in Park City Utah.
