Charles and I have known each other since we were in elementary school together at Cherokee Bend Elementary. We first started liking each other when we were 15 and dated the majority of our high school and college years as we were both attending Auburn. I went on to graduate and move to Atlanta so we were entering into long distance for the first time. Charles had one more year at Auburn to finish his Civil Engineering degree and then headed off to Huntsville for work. Over the past 8 years we have grown so much both together and on our own and have fallen more in love every day. Charles pulled off the biggest surprise when he asked me to marry him at the Botanical Gardens under a big yellow tree in his great grandmother B's garden. Little did I know, he was planning this perfect day for months and had involved both of our families and best friends to help make it run smoothly. I was getting nosy and eager and starting to catch on to the surprise...but against all odds Charles popped the question and I still feel like it was all a dream! We are so excited for this new chapter and to see all that the Lord has planned for us in our future together. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all and are looking forward to and praying over November 20, 2021!
