Our story began in high school, thanks to a mutual friend who introduced us. At the time, neither of us could have imagined just how important that introduction would be. A few months later, Kip asked me to be his date to his senior prom, and that night became the first of many memories together. What started as a fun evening soon turned into something much more meaningful.

After high school, we went to different colleges—Kip headed to Mississippi State, and I went to Ole Miss. While our schools may have been rivals, we never saw it that way. We spent the next few years navigating long-distance, balancing busy schedules, and making the most of every trip to see each other. From long drives back and forth between Starkville and Oxford to late-night FaceTime calls after long days of classes, we always found ways to stay connected. College came with its challenges, but through it all, we grew together—learning, adapting, and always making each other a priority.

Over the years, we've shared so many experiences—celebrating milestones, supporting each other through setbacks, and building a relationship that has only grown stronger with time. We’ve spent holidays with each other’s families, cheered each other on through career goals, and created a life filled with love, laughter, and a few spirited football debates along the way.

Then, over three and a half years after we went to prom together, Kip surprised me with the biggest moment of all—he proposed on October 12, 2024, in the very same place where we went to prom. It was a full-circle moment, standing in the place where it all began, now ready to take on the rest of our lives together.

Now, after years of memories and milestones, we’re so excited to take this next step. We can’t wait to celebrate with the family and friends who have been part of our journey from the very beginning!
