What is the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center?

Once a farm for the Schlitz Brewery draft horses, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is Milwaukee’s comprehensive nature center. They offer six miles of trails that take visitors through 185 acres of forests, wetlands, restored prairies, ravines, bluffs, and Lake Michigan shoreline. Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, their mission is to conserve our land’s diverse habitats on Lake Michigan and provide meaningful experiences and environmental education for all.

What will we be eating?

Cocktail hors d'oeuvres, custom dinner stations, and dessert will be provided by Saz's catering. Dinner stations will include Summer BBQ, Street Taco, and Mac and Cheese Martini Bar. Custom dinner stations will include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Please text Maggie if you have any special dietary needs for dinner. Saz's will prepare special plates as an alternative dinning option for those with allergies.

What is the dress code?

We invite you to wear whatever makes you most comfortable! If you like direction, please dress in cocktail, semi-formal, or even dressy casual attire. Not sure what these really mean? (who does?) Here's a helpful guide: https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet.

Can my kids come?

We love your children, but our wedding is adults-only with the exception of the bridal-party. We appreciate your understanding.

When can we arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony begins at 5:00 P.M. and guests are welcome to arrive beginning at 4:30 P.M. to enjoy the beautiful grounds and live music.

Do we have to pay admission to enter the grounds?

No, wedding guests do not pay admission and parking fees. Pull up to the Welcome Booth and let their team member know you are there for a wedding and follow the drive to the parking lot.
