We met in 6th grade after Maggie spotted Jonathan walking in the hallway at school, completely decked out in his bright orange

University of Texas Austin athleisure.

We quickly started talking through text and Facebook messages.

Jonathan asked Maggie to be his girlfriend on February 12th, 2011

(we were both so shy and nervous, we hadn't even talked in person yet!)

We texted each other no joke, literally every.single.day.

When Jonathan had his concussions in 2011/2012, he would sneak his cell phone (Sorry Sue and Dave!) to text Maggie any chance he had

We started spending more "in-person" time together and would meet in the middle school hallways after classes, to lunch, and to the buses after school.

Eventually, we wanted to start hanging out outside of school, so we quickly became regulars at the movie theater basically from 12-15 years old

Jonathan proposed on July 25th, 2021 while we were in one of our favorite places - Mille Lacs Lake.
