It all began on December 1, 2023, at a sorority function we both just happened to attend. Kade came as a last-minute plus-one, and though we weren’t officially paired as dates, we ended up riding in the same car and gravitated toward each other. We spent the night chatting and getting to know one another and while I didn’t even catch his last name, I got an Instagram follow and soon after, a DM. I wasn’t expecting anything to come of it, but God had other plans. At first, I tried to friend-zone him—mostly because he was a few years younger than me—but Kade didn’t get the memo. He kept showing up, always with a reason to talk or spend time together. I slowly started to realize I was feeling the same way. Before Christmas break, I admitted I could see us being more than friends. While we were apart over break, we stayed in touch constantly, and I got a phone call asking me on our first date. The first week after our first date we just kept finding reasons to be with one another!! Baking cookies together on our first date, going sledding with some of our best friends, Kade "fixing" my faulty window in my old college house( lets admit it, he just wanted to spend more time with me), and going to basketball games. This was all in the first week after winter break! Not long after, on January 30, 2024, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. That spring was sweet and filled with so many sweet memories of getting to know one another more. But just a few months later, we found ourselves doing 13 weeks of long distance—me in Texas working at Pine Cove, and Kade in Colorado. It was a challenge, but the Lord used that season to strengthen our relationship. Kade told me he loved me before we left for the summer, and by the time he visited me at camp, I knew I loved him too. Throughout the fall, the Lord kept softening my heart and giving me clarity about our future. After a trip to visit my family in October, things began to click—we started dreaming about a future together. Then, in January 2025, we went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, and God confirmed in both of our hearts that we were called to pursue marriage. On April 26, 2025, Kade got down on one knee and asked me to marry him—and I said yes! We are so excited to begin this new chapter and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you on October 24, 2025. We are deeply grateful for the ways God has led our story, and we look forward to all that’s ahead.

We love NWA, and we hope that you will too! Thank you so much for everyone who is traveling to come to our wedding! We are so grateful for the support of our friends and family truly. Kade is native to Fayetteville, while Maggie moved here 4 years ago to go to the University of Arkansas and now calls Rogers, AR home. We have a variety of things we love to do, and we wanted to share a few! But there’s so many good food options, places to explore, trails to hike, and things to see!

Maggie works on the square, it is such a fun place! They have a farmers market open 7AM- 1:30 PM on Saturdays, it is the best! There’s so many good restaurants we recommend: Tavola Trattoria, Oven & Tap, Tacos & Tamale, and Tusk & Trotter. You can’t go wrong. Don’t forgot to visit the Walmart museum where Maggie works, to learn all about how the little town of Bentonville, grew to be the home of the biggest company in the world!

Bentonville Square

We have loved coming to this park since moving to Rogers, they have the local airport right next to the park so that you’re able to watch planes land and take off. You can even visit a little cafe at the airport for lunch. There’s parks for kids, trails to walk, pickleball courts and even places to fish!

Osage park

We have visited these trails recently and absolutely love them. There’s a waterfall that is gorgeous, and so many trails!

Tanyard Creek

We listed the Rogers location but there’s one in Springdale, Fayetteville, and Bentonville. This one is the headquarters, onyx coffee is great and great vibes!!

Enjoy a gentle hike to get your morning coffee, it is such a beautiful trail you will be sure to see a lot of bikers! 

Airship At Coler 

You cannot miss this beautiful museum of American art, they have indoor and outdoor exhibits along with a Frank Loyd Wright house!

Just recently discovered this treasure of a trail! It is right by Downtown Rogers so grab your onyx coffee and go for a walk!!
