A wedding Mass is a Catholic sacrament that includes a full celebration of the Eucharist. Non-Catholic guests should be aware that the Eucharist is reserved for baptized Catholics in good standing with the Church. To be in good standing with the Catholic Church, one must have attended Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation and rest from servile labor, confessed your [serious] sins at least once a year, received the sacrament of the Eucharist at least once during the Easter season, observed the days of fasting and abstinence established by the Church, and have helped to provide for the needs of the Church according to your ability.
Does the Wedding Mass fulfill our Sunday obligation?
No, but there are many Saturday evening Masses in Denver that would fulfill your obligation, including
4:00 PM - Holy Ghost Catholic Church, and
4:30 PM - Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
Where should I park?
Free parking for the Church is available in the open-air lot on the northwest corner of 19th and Welton Streets. Free parking is also available in the lot across the street from the Botanic Gardens.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal attire.
For Women: Semi-formal attire typically includes cocktail dresses, elegant knee-length or midi dresses.
For Men: Men should wear a suit or a dress shirt with dress trousers, paired with a blazer or a sports jacket and tie.
Are kids invited?
While we would love to have your kids with us on our wedding day, due to the nature of our venue, we are unable to invite children to our wedding.
Can I have a plus one?
We are so blessed to have so many friends and family to celebrate with us! Due to space constraints, we are only able to offer plus-ones to those specifically mentioned in their invitation. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you!
