Javi and I met in late 2018 while working at Bells Ferry Elementary- in the after school program, specifically. He worked with the 3rd grade class, I worked with the 4th grade class, and we were always on the playground at the same time.

He got my number after casually inviting me to a dinner get-together with our other coworkers (and by casually, I mean he waited 30 minutes in his car for me to leave work to invite me, lol). We texted about work and kept it very professional- until he sent 8 Ball games on IMessage. I convinced my best friend Lizzie to play him back and pretend it was me, so that "I" could win.

By March of 2019, he asked me to be his girlfriend with a note left on my car- at work, of course. Since then, we've seen countless taco truck and Braves game dates, 3 years long distance, and now, a life together!
