The story all begins where most good stories do... the internet of course! We met online, good ol Hinge, and Maggie actually made the first move! Maggie liked one of Daves pictures - of course one of his musical performances - Oklahoma! to be exact - to which he messaged her in response... and so history began.


Moving from little screen to big screen, we had our first date at the Blue Grass Drive-In Movie Theater, seeing a double feature of Harry Potter films. It was magical. From there it was date after date; more movie nights, mini putt putt, family dinners - some zoom, some in person - dinner dates, and some hockey games.


We both knew this was for real when Dave was able to survive his first 10 day full Disney World Ward family vacation. We continued on this Disney trend and went just the two of us in October of 2021 to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.


Fast forwarding a little bit to summer of 2022 when Maggie figured out that Dave was going to propose. It was beautiful, hot, fun, family filled, but just not much of a surprise. Of course Maggie said yes, everyone cheered, and there was great food after! And that brings us to the excitement of being engaged, wedding planning, and inviting all of you to our special day! We cant wait to celebrate with everyone in June of 2023!
