Our Wedding

We never thought you could find love online, but God works in mysterious ways! We met in November of 2022 and at the time, Maggie was working towards her Bachelor and Kyle was in his third year of medical school both at the University of Kentucky. We quickly developed a strong relationship with one another and made it official in January of 2023 and have been madly in love ever since. Throughout our relationship we have enjoyed golfing, trying new restaurants, cooking together, spoiling our mini goldendoodle Mylo, going on adventures, watching every sport imaginable, and making each other laugh every day. We’ve learned and grown tremendously as a couple and continue to strengthen our relationship as time goes on. Our best memories have been made with one another and we can’t wait to make so many more memories together. Before graduating medical school, Kyle matched at the University of Iowa for residency so we packed up our little family after both graduating and moved to Iowa City, IA where we currently reside. Now Kyle is working at the University of Iowa Hospital as a resident physician and Maggie is working remotely in Talent Acquisition for a small consulting company. On February 22nd, 2025 Kyle asked Maggie to spend the rest of their lives together, and if you haven’t guessed, she said yes! We got to celebrate the moment with sweet Mylo and some of our closest friends. We are so grateful for God’s many blessings throughout our relationship and look forward to the future together!

Downtown Owensboro has many bars, restaurants, and places you can visit during your stay here! Below we have highlighted some places we recommend going to.

Laid-back spot featuring an extensive selection of beer, cocktails, and bourbons. This is a perfect place to grab a drink and relax. They do not offer food but you can order from any surrounding restaurants and have it delivered there to enjoy.

The Pub on Second

If you’re looking for somewhere to grab food or an appetizer along with some drinks then we recommend here! They have outdoor seating as well if you’d like to soak up some sun.

The Brew Bridge

The Crème Coffee House is a well-known coffee shop downtown that serves specialty drinks, sandwiches &amp; desserts in retro-chic surrounds. Perfect for a little pick me up to keep you going for the day!

If you’re looking for somewhere to walk and enjoy the weather the Riverfront is the perfect place. Right along the Ohio River, there are benches for you to relax in and even a park to entertains kids at.

Guests have the option to visit the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame &amp; Museum before the wedding (or any time they’d like) It will cost money to enter but if you’d like to learn more about Bluegrass it’s worth the money!
