On the night of December 28, 2020, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring— except Mahkaela and Logan. They were on Bumble looking for love.

Once they matched, Mahkaela messaged Logan a funny little message asking about his height (lol) and they quickly started clicking. Bumble messages ended up on snapchat and soon asking to meet up.

On December 30, 2020, Mahkaela and Logan met up at Texas Roadhouse and just kind of sat there (because she brought her roommate. no serial killers here) waiting for the opportunity to talk. Both being shy, Mahkaela waited until they separated to message Logan and ask if he wanted to come over and watch movies— Netflix and Chill, shall i say.

After some convincing, Logan went over to Mahkaela’s house at the time and they watched movies and laughed and opened up more and more. Logan soon had to leave and kissed her forehead when telling her goodbye. This action had her SWOONING.

Everyday they talked or hung out. 24/7.

On January 12, 2021, Logan came to Mahkaela’s door with a bouquet of red roses asking her to be his girlfriend.

On March 20, 2021, Logan expressed his love for her.

From then on, everything quickly fell into place. Things were simple. Logan was always there when Mahkaela needed a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, or even just advice.

In December 2021, Mahkaela officially moved in with Logan and his roommates.

In August 2022, Logan and Mahkaela graduated from University of Texas at Tyler.

In April 2023, they started a new chapter in life and moved out of their house with roommates to a house on their own.

They both got out of retail (for the most part) and started thinking about their careers. Mahkaela started teaching as a 7th Grade Science Teacher and Logan started working at EMA in their BIM Department.

On November 25, 2023, while they were taking Christmas pictures, Logan proposed to Mahkaela.
