Our Wedding

<p>We met at a basketball game on February 4th, 2020. Honestly, I couldn't even tell you if it was women's or men's basketball, because we spent the whole game in the hallway with our little group. I went home that night with a sore stomach from laughing so much because of him. I passed by him in the hallway one day and he winked at me with a smirk. It was quick, but by the feeling in my stomach I could tell I was in trouble! We started spending time together and officially started dating March 17th, 2020. We went through some challenges in our friend group that summer, but it only made Noah and I stronger in the end. We went through covid and online school together, often times getting together during the day and doing schoolwork. When we finally started back in person Noah walked me to all of my classes, even if they were on the opposite end of the building. He graduated from high school and went on to college, thankfully only to South Central in Mankato so we could still always see each other. On March 17th, 2023 (our three-year anniversary) he gave me this big black hexagon shaped box. As I opened it layers of pictures fell out from our three years together. When I finally got to the middle there was a small jewelry box. Noah started reading a note while I opened the box. He read off many promises, all which he has kept, and gave me a promise ring. I don't think I looked away from the ring for more than 10 minutes at a time the rest of that night. The hard part was when I started college at SDSU in Brookings, over three hours away. Those first few months were really hard. I couldn't wait for winter break so I could spend almost a month at home, but of course that flew by. Over spring break, he said he wanted to go on a little trip to Duluth. Of course I agreed, not knowing what he had planned. We had so much fun, walking along the beach, going to all the little shops around town, and the aquarium. He had planned that we would go hiking at Gooseberry Falls one of the days we were there because I always talked about how I wanted to go back. We went to Gooseberry Falls on March 11th, 2024, and walked lots of trails. I don't know if we were even on trails half of the time! We went down near the falls to sit and take a break. After we sat for a little bit, we were getting ready to start up again when Noah pulled me back and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Immediately I said yes of course! We got back and celebrated with family before I had to come back to school. Only this time I was showing off a new ring! Summer came quick and before I knew it, I was spending every free moment with him again. He basically moved in for the summer! Then of course school started back up again. Now here we are, counting down the days until we get to say, "I do" and spend the rest of our lives together!</p>

I basically grew up with Alleyce. We spent a lot of time together, especially during the summers. I was lucky to have her as my sidekick and also as the president of the Cat Club!

Kenna Grace was the sister I never had. She has been my best friend since diapers, literally. Some of my favorite memories include terrorizing her hamster and pretending the paparazzi was after us! 

McKenna Miller

Johnessa and I were lab partners our first semester of freshman year and took great joy in making fun of our lab T.A. together. We grew really close sophomore year as roommates and have made some amazing memories together. I'm so glad I met her in that awful lab!

Sophomore year as I was moving in Hollie barged in our room and basically declared us friends right then and there (first impression keep in mind). We hit it off right away and most nights it was Johnessa and I in our dorm with Hollie right there. Usually, we were all cuddled up on the bean bag!

Hollie Frost

I met Noah #2 in college at SCC. We had the same classes and similar interests, so we clicked right away and became really good buddies. We enjoyed chasing calves when we were supposed to be in class. We also enjoyed fitting 6 people in the kia while we toured Mankato. 

Noah Klaseus

I met Andrew after Maia and I started dating and he is like a brother to me. We enjoy being outdoors together, fishing, bow-fishing and scouting the property for unwanted critters at night. We clicked instantly and one of my favorite memories is when he got camo crocs to match mine!

Andrew Bartelt

I met Caleb at SCC as well. We all had the same classes and so we clicked right away too. We enjoyed touring the equipment lots and getting the "flavor of the day" at Culver's on our breaks. He was also a part of fitting 6 people into the kia!

Logan is the big brother or as we like to call him the "chosen one" because of his book smarts. Some of the best memories we share are playing tennis together in the summers. He always thought he was better than me, but of course he was not.
