September 3rd, 2022. Labor day weekend in Destin, FL. Maigen and Seth, one on a bachelorette party, and the other on a bachelor trip, both set out on boats to spend the day with their parties at crab island. Sometime during the day, the two groups crossed paths in the water, and stopped to talk. This is where Maigen and Seth first saw each other. The mingling led to the two exchanging numbers, in hopes they would meet up to hangout as groups later that evening. To their disappointment, that was the first, and last time they would get to see each other that weekend, but it was more than enough. Continuous texting, phone calls, and facetimes, kept the two in touch for months, building a friendship that would become so much more.Fast forward to November of 2022, Seth books a “work” flight to Nashville to take Maigen out on a date for the first time. They ended up hanging out all three days Seth stayed in town. Both knew that what they were doing was crazy, and a future together would be incredibly difficult, but God used those three days to build an instant friendship that would rapidly grow.For 2.5 years, Maigen and Seth made the impossible into their reality. Countless flights back and forth to one another, taking trips to California, Buffalo NY, Florida, Arizona, and even meeting in the middle just to see each other for a short weekend in Starkville, MS, they made it work. While it came with many challenges, they relied on God and each other to get through anything that stood in their way. In July of 2025, the long distance was finally over. Only a couple of months after moving to Nashville, Seth pulled a ring out of his cowboy boot and proposed.

If you are looking for a quaint and quiet stay near downtown Franklin and closer to the reception, we recommend the Hampton Inn! Located near multiple restaurants, stores, and coffee shops for easy access. Drive time to Scarritt Bennet - Wightman Chapel is 24 minutes.Drive time to Homestead Manor is 11 minutes.

For a more Nashville centralized stay, we recommend Homewood Suites in the Gulch. This hotel is in walking distance to many shops, restaurants, bars, and Broadway!Drive time to Scarritt Bennett - Wightman Chapel is 6 minutes.Drive time to Homestead Manor is 31 minutes.

Ceremony Parking

Free parking is available in Scarritt Bennett’s “Parking Lot A,” with the entrance located on 18th Avenue South. If the lot is full, additional free street parking is available along 18th Avenue South. Paid parking can also be found on Scarritt Place, 19th Avenue South, and 18th Avenue. See below a Google Maps view of the entrance location for Parking Lot A as well as surrounding street names!

Cocktail Hour & Reception Parking

Following the ceremony, please join us for cocktail hour and reception beginning at 6:00 PM at Homestead Manor. The reception venue is approximately a 30-minute drive from the ceremony location. While transportation will not be provided, Ubers and rideshares should be easy to get, and there is plenty of free parking available at Homestead Manor if you are driving.

Seth and I love to walk around downtown Franklin! There's shopping, coffee shops and restaurants all in the cutest little neighborhood. While you're there you can hop on over to the Franklin factory for more shopping, coffee and the best ice cream (Jeni's)!

If you've never been to Nashville then you have to go visit Broadway! You will find a plethora of rooftop bars and you can hop over to fifth and broad for shopping and food.

Centennial park is a cute little area to walk around and you'll get to see the replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. This is Seth's favorite place to walk!
