Our Wedding

From the point of view of the maid of honor, Katherine

It all began when Maison and I became friends at the end of 2020 after meeting in SLAM (an organization at Texas A&amp;M). The closer that Maison and I became, the more I began to realize how good his heart was and how compatible him and my sister would be. Nat and Maison first met in early 2021 when Nat threw a small house party. I brought Maison along to Nats house for the party. They did not hit it off immediately, as Maison (for some unfathomable reason) thought he was too mature for Nat, but I knew it just needed a little more time and it would progress. Then came the huge freeze of 2021 where College Station did not have power for a few days and people could not really drive or do anything. Since Nat was my next-door neighbor and Maison lived in the same neighborhood, the three of us and our roommates were all able to get together and spend those days together, which is when Nat and Maison really hit it off during a movie night after a day of attaching a kiddie pool to Jakes truck and going sledding on the streets. Shortly after that, Maison asked Nat on a date and they had a picnic in the park and were inseparable ever since. They made things official in April of 2021 when Nat was Maisons date to barge in Austin for his mens organization, and the rest is history. The next three and a half years had lots of milestones- both Nat and Maison graduating college, starting their first jobs, and having to do long distance, all which led to Maison finally proposing to Nat in October of 2024 on a surprise trip to Charleston, South Carolina. It has been the greatest blessing to watch the development of their relationship over time and to watch Nat find her best friend and have Maison become part of the family, and they cannot wait to celebrate this next big milestone of officially starting their lives together and celebrating with all the people they love most!

I met Maison during our time as Fish Camp counselors during our sophomore year, and I had eight long months to get to know my best friend before the love of his life waltzed in unexpectedly. Maison brought Nat to a theme party shortly thereafter, and after one singular night of seeing them together, I knew they would never be a part again. She instantly brought balance to his life while helping him to become the best version of himself. Independently, they are the two most fun-loving thoughtful golden retrievers in the world. Together, they've blended utmost compassion and unwavering love to become the epitome of an unstoppable force, and there's not an immovable object that will ever stop their roll.

Cocktail hour begins at 4:00 PM CST. The send off will be at 9:30 PM CST.

When should I RSVP by?

We ask that you RSVP by February 14th.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! We request that all guests come dressed in spring formal attire. For ladies, mid length to floor length dress. For gentlemen, suits with ties.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Cocktail hour will be held outside under a patio.

Are kids welcome?

We love your kids, but to meet guest count restrictions, we have decided that our wedding will be an adults-only event, with the exception of children who are part of the wedding party.
