The Story of Us

It was 2014 when thirteen-year-old Bradley and fourteen-year-old Makayla met through a mutual friend over text. Back when they were innocent and unaware of the possibilities that would come of them in the future. The first time Makayla and Bradley saw each other was during parent-teacher night walking through the halls of the high school. Makayla was taken aback. She had butterflies in her stomach, her head in the clouds, and she couldn't wipe the smile from her face. She had no explanation for this feeling except it was new. After that moment she wanted to see him repeatedly and knew he was special. Bradley had a similar feeling stating he felt his head was in the clouds. He had never experienced this either. They began a friendship with little regard for what was building. Hanging out at football games, inseparable, they would deny allegations of being more than friends. After spending time together they decided they were meant to be more. Young love is challenging. As you grow up you change and must learn to adapt to the person you're becoming and the person your love is becoming. As you enter each new stage of your life, you must ask yourself "Do we still have the same goals?" In our case we did.Bradley and Makayla were brought into each other's lives when they least expected it. Maybe it was fate or perfect timing on our parents' part, whatever the reason it was meant to be.

Wedding Party

For our wedding, we ask that you dress semi-formal. No jeans or leggings. We ask that men and women refrain from wearing white as this is reserved for the bride.Attached are reference photos.

Honeymoon Fund

Why doesn't my invite include the ceremony and reception address?- We are keeping the ceremony small but still want you to be a part of our big day and join us at the reception. Are we able to bring our kids to the ceremony?- We love your children but would like the ceremony to remain kid-free. They are all welcome at the reception.-We completely understand if you're unable to arrange childcare and can only join us for the reception. Can I bring a plus one?- As we have limited space at each venue we ask you only bring who is included on your invitation. Can I take photos?-We are having an unplugged ceremony! Please enjoy the ceremony and let the photographer capture the photos.
