Our Wedding

What an amazing journey it has been. We met through our church’s young adult ministry while playing volleyball. At first, Makayla thought Jonathan was married because he said, “we” regarding his family, had just moved to Houston From 😂. Between Bible Study, game nights, and serving on worship team together, we found ourselves wanting to spend more and more time together. After going back and forth about whether our age difference would affect a “long-term” relationship we gave it a chance and haven’t regretted it! They quickly noticed one another’s desire to serve others and overall understanding attitude. Jonathan’s humility, generosity, and consistency coupled with Makayla’s grit, empathy and love for adventure was recipe for true love. Looking forward to the next years through all the fun memories we’ll make. 💕
