<p>Nick and I met at Piggly Wiggly in Cross Plains. We worked together for 7 or so years before we started dating. <br><br>Fast forward to February 2019 we talked about how we both liked each other but he was so busy with working on the farm and his job at pig that he didn’t want to disappoint me. I thought for sure he was turning me down. But the next day he came into work and asked if I had plans for Valentine’s Day. So we went on our first date and have been together ever since. If you would have told me when I started my job at Pig I would find my husband there I would say you are crazy! But here we are! ♥️</p>

How We Met

05/25/24- It all started when we planned a trip to Gulf Shores with Nicks sister Chrissy and brother in law Shane. I suspected that maybe he would ask but wasn’t going to get my hopes up. I mean it had been 5 years so a girl can dream! It was our third day in Gulf Shores  and we planned on going to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo! Nick and I love to find a zoo when we travel to different states! We were almost finished and Chrissy suggested we go down by the pond/waterfall for picture’s. I took Chrissy and Shane’s picture first and then I was hesitant to have her take ours since it was so hot out! So she took our picture and recorded once Nick grabbed both my hands and said some sweet things and he finally got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! ♥️
