It all started unexpectedly on a summer night at Señor Frogs in Chelan. We didn’t know it at the time, but that chance encounter was the beginning of something that would change our lives forever. We started dating quickly after we met. There was an ease between us, like we'd known each other forever, and it felt as though we’d been waiting for this connection all our lives. It didn’t take long before Riley moved to Arizona for baseball, and suddenly we were faced with the reality of a long-distance relationship. It wasn’t easy, but we made it work—every phone call, every visit, every text. That year of long-distance didn’t just keep us together; it brought us closer than we ever thought possible.
